In a bid to ease travel, draw closer to its esteemed customers and boost ticket sales, Lomé-based regional carrier, ASKY Airlines, has opened five (05) novel City Ticket Offices in key cities across Nigeria; one at Airport Business Hub, Lagos Mainland, the other on Lagos Island; and one (01) each in the cities of Abuja, Port Harcourt and Ibadan. The ultra modern offices were launched on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Airport Business Hub, Murtala Muhammed International Way, Ikeja, one of the airline’s new City Ticket Offices in Lagos.

Present at the launch were ASKY’s Country Manager for Nigeria, Mr. Simon Mobolaji; ASKY’s Commercial & Ground Operations Director, Mr. Nowel Ngala; Chief Executive Officer, Wakanow, Mr. Adebayo Adedeji; Chief Commercial Officer, Wakanow, Mrs. Adenike Macaulay; Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Grezy Global Services, Mr. Gabriel Adetula amongst others.

Commenting on the laudable milestone, Mr. Mobolaji had this to say: “As part of our strategic engineering process following our success in the Nigerian market since we commenced operations into Nigeria twelve (12) years ago, we decided to get even closer to our clients by bringing our excellent customer service experience closer to them. Today, we are launching the opening of these state-of-the-art offices across Nigeria in partnership with our travel distribution and technology partners, who are renowned for offering seamless travel services to Nigerians”, he said.

On his part, Mr. Ngala divulged that the decision to set up five (05) City Ticket Offices in Nigeria was engendered by ASKY’s desire to offer its valued customers an upgrade of its services in the Nigerian market. He went on to note that ASKY marked its twelfth anniversary with the procurement of its twelfth aircraft, since the airline’s aim was to later step up flight frequency and expand its route network across Africa while driving regional integration:

“We strongly believe that together with our travel distribution and technology partners – solid home base travel operators who share our belief in the Pan-African renaissance, coupled with their current expansion across other markets beyond Nigeria, it was time for us to establish this win-win and long lasting partnership that will further provide the necessary services to our customers”, he said.

ASKY is a Pan-African airline that has seen remarkable growth in the last twelve years. Its current fleet comprises twelve (12) aircraft deployed from its hub in Lomé – Togo, from whence the airline connects over twenty-five (25) destinations in twenty (20) countries on the continent.

The carrier recently expanded its route network to Cape Verde, and is set to commence flights to Sao Tome and Principe come October 15, 2022. ASKY presently operates daily flights to Abuja and Lagos, and is working on opening additional destinations across Nigeria in the near future.
