It was with heartfelt gratitude that the management staff of Ibom Air welcomed passengers before they boarded the Lagos-bound Flight Q1 104 from Uyo at 1615 hours on May 17, 2021 – a flight which happened to be the airline’s 10,000th since the airline’s inception in 2019.
To mark the memorable occasion, passengers were allowed to take pictures with the banner announcing the flight, just before they boarded. These were also later thrilled with surprise in-flight gifts, courtesy of the airline.
Ibom Air’s Chief Executive Officer, George Uriesi who was on ground leading the airline’s management staff in welcoming the passengers seized the opportunity to thank Ibom Air’s customers for their continuous patronage, concluding that their dedication is an “honour” they at Ibom Air “do not take for granted”.
It can be recalled that earlier this year, on March 1, 2021, Ibom Air airlifted its 500,000th passenger – a figure that has ever since been surpassed as the airline continues to grow in leaps and bounds.
