Delta Air Lines has announced the appointment of Mary Gbobaniyi as Manager, Sales – West Africa, effective immediately. In this role, she will be responsible for leading sales and commercial operations across the West African region, with a focus on driving business growth and strengthening relationships with key partners.
With a strong background in aviation sales and management, Gbobaniyi brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Her previous roles at Emirates and Lufthansa German Airlines have equipped her with a deep understanding of the West African market and a proven track record of success in sales and commercial operations.
She holds a degree in Business Information Technology and Marketing from London Metropolitan University and an advanced business qualification from Westminster Kingsway College, UK.
“I am excited to have her on board and look forward to the experience and knowledge she will bring to our already amazing team,” revealed Manoj Kuraikose, Delta’s General Manager, Sales, Middle East, Africa, and India (MEAI).
The newly appointed sales lead expressed her enthusiasm at joining Delta, citing the airline’s core values of honesty, integrity, servant leadership and resilience which deeply struck a cord with her person.
