In line with Ibom Air’s 2022 domestic route expansion scheme, the airline has revealed that it will soon commence scheduled flight operations from Bayelsa International Airport at Yenagoa to Lagos and Abuja on February 25, 2022.
According to Ibom Air’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. George Uriesi, Yenagoa was designated Ibom Air’s next destination due to the company’s desire to contribute to the economic expansion of Bayelsa, through the provision of operational efficiency and the facilitation of the movement of travellers in and out of the state for both business and leisure.
In his own words, “We are excited at the prospect of contributing to the economic development of Bayelsa State by offering services that our passengers have come to expect and trust. We want to take this opportunity to assure them that as we expand our operations, they can rest assured that safety and customer satisfaction still remain the centre of Ibom Air’s operations; and that we will work hard to continue to meet and exceed their expectations.”
The management of the airline took the opportunity to market its services to Bayelsans on Tuesday, via a chartered flight which airlifted HE Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa from Lagos to Yenagoa.
The airline enjoins prospective passengers to look out for ticket sales which are to commence in the upcoming days.
