TAAG Angola Airlines made history at the Dubai Air Show held from November 17 – 21, 2025 with a static display of its aircraft at such a global event for the first time ever in the company’s existence. The airline showcased its Airbus A220-300 aircraft with the new livery and branding, offering visitors, industry partners, and the media an exclusive opportunity to tour the cabin and experience features of the modern jet.
The airline said exhibiting the Airbus A220-300 aircraft at the Dubai Air Show is a major milestone for TAAG Angola Airlines, while the airline takes the opportunity to invite the aviation community to learn more about the product and global strategy of the Angolan flagship carrier, focused on boosting intra-Africa connections, powered by this versatile and state-of-the-art narrow body. The aircraft has a total capacity of 137 seats, including 12 in business, 35 in premium economy, and 90 in economy.
The Dubai Air Show served as a great platform for the Angola flag carrier to reaffirm its strategic growth trajectory and foster customer experience while the airline is undergoing an ambitious transformation journey, with the entire flight operations now based at the new International Airport, Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto hub.
In a related development at the Air Show, TAAG Angola Airlines signed an agreement with Boeing to extend training programs for its pilots. Focused on competency and data informed scenarios for both new student and experienced professional pilots, the programs will also assist in preparing TAAG Angola pilots for a variety of specific operations scenarios, including taking delivery of new airplanes into the fleet.
