TAAG Angola Airlines has reinforced its capacity to serve intercontinental routes with excellence, efficiency, and maximum comfort for passengers and clients following the delivery of its second Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on October 1, 2025.
The long-haul aircraft, with registration D2-TER, joins the existent Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (D2-TEQ) currently being operated on the Luanda–São Paulo route; marking another significant milestone toward the 2024–2029 strategic plan and the airline’s transformation and modernization process overall.
The new aircraft, which is incorporated under a leasing arrangement, has a total of 345 seats and is configured with 282 in Economy Class and 63 in Premium Economy Class with an option of future reconfiguration.Renowned for its fuel efficiency, significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, and lower operational costs, the B787 Dreamliners offers a greater onboard experience with quieter cabins, modern design, convenience, and comfort.
