Aviation bigwigs from around the globe are gearing up to convene in Paris – France for the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) upcoming 34th Ground Handling Conference (IGHC).
The event which is to hold from May 31 to June 2, 2022 with the theme, “People, Purpose and Passion – Building a Sustainable Future for Ground Operations” will revolve around three foremost issues: revamping implementation procedures and operations; empowering the workforce to execute sustainable and environmentally feasible solutions; devising viable new agreements.
According to IATA, the conference will feature a lineup of engaging activities such as executive summits, plenary sessions, specialized tracks, workshops and media interview opportunities touching on an array of ground handling and airport related topics.
The event also promises to feature a Chief Executive Officers’ (CEO) panel consisting of the Director General of IATA, Willie Walsh; the President & CEO, ATS, Sally Leible; the CEO, dnata, Steve Allen and the CEO of Aviapartner, Richard Prince.
Over four hundred (400) august delegates representing ground handling companies, airlines and airports are expected to be in attendance.
