Following a successful certification process, Rano Air has secured its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). This effectively paves the way for the new entrant to commence flight operations in the Nigerian domestic airline market.
The certificate was presented to the Airline on April 13, 2023 by the Director General of the NCAA, Capt. Musa Nuhu and received on behalf of the airline by the Accountable Manager, Alhaji Lawan Sabo-Bakinzuwo who was accompanied by the Legal Adviser.
Rano Air, which is an affiliate of the A.A. Rano Holding Company based in Kano has acquired four Embraer 145LR aircraft which it plans to deploy on its network spread across Asaba, Abuja, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Sokoto, and Yola.
