The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has a new Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection (DPA&CP) in the person of Mrs. Obiageli Orah. She officially took on her new role from her predecessor Mrs. Faithful Hope-Ivbaze at a handover ceremony held at FAAN headquarters, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja recently.

Prior to her recent appointment, Mrs. Obiageli served as the Deputy Chairperson of Protocol in Anambra State and as the Board Director of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), where she acquired valuable skills while overseeing numerous projects on community relations.

In addition, her people-centered experience in the medical field and in the world of business has prepared her for her present position at the helm of FAAN’s Public Affairs and Consumer Protection directorate. She is also currently the Vice President of Medical Ultrasound Practitioners of Nigeria.

Mrs. Obiageli obtained a BSc. (Hons) in Radiography & Imaging from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (UK); an MSc. in Medical Ultrasound from Bournemouth University, UK, and has undergone several other professional trainings abroad throughout her extensive career.
