Air Peace Felicitated by Brazilian Government and Embraer on 7th Anniversary – By Daisy BARRO

Air Peace has been extolled by the Brazilian Government and Embraer for the “remarkable achievements” by the airline in the seven years since its inception. The commendation, which came as the airline celebrated its 7th birthday on October 24, 2021 was given by the Head of Mission of the Brazilian embassy in Nigeria, Ambassador Ricardo Guerra de Araujo; and the General Manager, MEA, Embraer, Hussein Dabbas.

Talking about Air Peace at the 2021 Brazil-Nigeria Aviation and Defense Trade Forum organized by the Brazilian mission on October 25, 2021, Ambassador Araujo lauded the airline thus:

“Air Peace has made remarkable achievements investing in brand new airplanes and should be proud of itself for becoming a leader in Nigeria’s aviation.”

On his part, Hussein Dabbas praised the airline for staying strong over the years, and assured Air Peace of Embraer’s continuous partnership in line with both parties’ goal of increasing connectivity within the African continent and beyond.

It should be noted that Air Peace’ four (4) most recently acquired jets were all brand new 124-seat capacity Embraer 195-E2s. The airline which began operations in 2014 today flaunts a diverse fleet of thirty (30) aircraft serving two (2) international, six (6) regional and nineteen (19) domestic destinations.
