The Management of Overland Airways has divulged the airline’s plan of soon commencing scheduled flights from the buzzing cities of Lagos and Abuja to Warri, Delta State come November 15, 2021. This was recently revealed by Overland’s Managing Director (M.D), Capt. Edward Boyo.
According to the M.D, “Our Lagos-Warri and Abuja-Warri flights show Overland Airways’ commitment in connecting emerging economies to the two major hub cities in Nigeria, from where passengers can equally fly to other cities in Western and Northern Nigeria, some of which have been dutifully served by Overland Airways for nearly 20 years.”
The said flights will be operated daily, departing Lagos to Warri at 12:20 and departing Warri back to Lagos at 17:20. Flights will also depart from Abuja to Warri at 15:45; and depart Warri to Abuja at 13:50.
In the nineteen (19) years of the airline’s operations in Nigeria, Overland Airways has expanded its network to serve cities such as Jalingo, Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja, Akure, Ilorin and now Warri, operating both scheduled and charter flights, and also transporting cargo. Its present fleet comprises of nine (9) modern aircraft of ATR-42s, ATR-72s and Beechcraft 1900Ds.
